About
Pastors For Life
calling our state to repentance and action to protect the lives of all innocent children.

MISSION: Lead the state for life by equipping and encouraging fellow pastors to preach and lead congregations to pray and effect change in culture and law to protect all living children.
VISION: Change law and culture to protect all living children beginning at conception, which also protects mothers and benefits all of us.

TWO-FOLD PURPOSE:
1) Provide mentorship, encouragement, information, and ideas for pastors through a monthly meeting, events, blogs, emails, and other activities.

2) Lead congregations in repentance, prayer, education, and action to change law and culture to protect all living children beginning at conception.

GOALS:
1) Review and support a Constitutional Amendment put forward by the Colorado Life Initiative Coalition that protects all living children beginning at conception.

2) Meet regularly with pastors to provide encouragement, mentorship, and share ideas for ways to lead congregations for life. Any pastor may participate (lead, assistant, youth, worship, elder, missions).

3) Pastors speak Biblically from the pulpit warning against the temptation of child sacrifice, grace and healing available for those suffering, and the importance of saving children’s lives and sparing people from the judgement of God.

4) Pastors support a group in their church to redeem the political process to protect all children’s lives beginning at conception, circulate petitions in the church and community to get a Constitutional Amendment onto the ballot, and participate in other life-saving ministries such as presence at abortion clinics, volunteering at a local pregnancy center where the gospel can be shared, and helping women and men within their congregation.

5) Appeal to fellow pastors to lead congregations to end the holocaust and join efforts with Pastors For Life and Colorado Life Initiative Coalition.

VALUES:
1) PFL’s foundation is the written Word of God with reliance on the Holy Spirit

2) Put forward a just law that doesn’t allow any child to be killed

3) Gospel-centered: God’s moral law with grace and redemption for those who repent

4) Redeem the political process by applying Biblical standards to all political action

5) Provide Biblical influence in all public areas including government

Scriptures
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:20)

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you; even though you multiply your prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood. Wash and cleanse yourselves. Remove your evil deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil! Learn to do right; seek justice and correct the oppressor. Defend the fatherless and plead the case of the widow.” (Isaiah 1:15-17)

"For if you really correct your ways and deeds, if you act justly toward one another, if you no longer oppress the foreigner and the fatherless and the widow, and if you no longer shed innocent blood in this place or follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever. But look, you keep trusting in deceptive words to no avail. Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal, and follow other gods that you have not known, and then come and stand before Me in this house, which bears My Name, and say, ‘We are delivered, so we can continue with all these abominations’? Has this house, which bears My Name, become a den of robbers in your sight? Yes, I too have seen it, declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 7:5-11)

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me. If I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ but you do not warn him or speak out to warn him from his wicked way to save his life, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, and I will hold you responsible for his blood. But if you warn a wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness and his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity, but you will have saved yourself. (Ezekiel 3:17-19)
