Dear Friend,
Pregnancy can be a wonderful experience. Sometimes you just want someone to celebrate with you. Sometimes, pregnancy holds a magnifying glass to everything you'd like to do differently in your life and nine months seems a very short time to get it all done. Thankfully, there are women across the country helping other women walk through the process of pregnancy.
Here are some links to where you can find help in your area.
Think you may be pregnant?
It is normal to feel anxiety and worry over pregnancy and excited all at the same time. You may want to be a mother, even though this may be sooner (or later) than you'd hoped. It can help to talk with someone about your hopes, dreams, fears, and plans for yourself. It can also help to talk with someone who specializes in helping pregnant mothers throughout pregnancy and beyond, and familiar with the anxieties and fears you may be facing. It can be helpful to know that you are not alone.

Pregnancy help centers offer no-cost confidential services such as a free pregnancy test, emotional support, parenting classes, infant clothes and items, and can connect you with financial help and community resources. Many pregnancy centers also offer a free ultrasound and some may offer testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STI's). Many pregnancy centers offer mentoring for both expecting mom and dad. They may help with budgeting, housing,, and prenatal care. For teenagers, they can help you talk with your parents.

Pregnancy care centers provide accurate information on fetal development, abortion procedures and risks, and many other parenting options that an abortion clinic will not provide. Pregnancy care centers are funded primarily through personal donations and do not profit from your decision. Through a pregnancy care center, a personal advocate can help you through your immediate crisis and personal emotions, wants, and needs to make the healthiest decisions for you and your baby. Pregnancy centers exist to help you throughout pregnancy and beyond. They can also connect you with modern adoption agencies that can work with you in choosing parents for your baby if you are not in a good place to care for your baby.
