Dear Friend,

The grief and regret of abortion can compound over time. Here are some initial steps you can take to begin the healing process:

1) Confess your sin to the Lord and ask Him to forgive you. (1 John 1:9)

2) Find a trusted person to confide in. This may be a pastor, friend, counselor, pregnancy center staff member, or abortion recovery group leader who has experience listening to those hurting from an abortion and have themselves a mature walk with the Lord and the gift of mercy.  (James 5:16)

3) Find a Christian support group specifically for those who have lost children through elective abortion. These groups will often have you go through a book or process that is Biblically based and has helped other men, women, and grandparents go through the grieving and healing process. Here are some links, below, to some groups that may be helpful to you.
